Our school curriculum is made up of the national curriculum and the additional learning experiences we have chosen to offer our children. New Silksworth Academy is unique. Our ‘intent’ is our curriculum plan. It is what we want our children to know and the skills we want them to apply at different stages of their education and by the time they leave New Silksworth Academy. We want every child at New Silksworth Academy to have aspirations; to dare to dream and aspire to be successful and most importantly to be proud of who they are and what they can become.

The ‘#WeAre’ celebrates our intent and is threaded through our curriculum with the key learning behaviours our school community believe are essential to equip our children to become confident and successful learners. The key learning behaviours are:
