Geography

Our Intent.

When we teach Geography in New Silksworth Academy, we are opening windows to the rest of the world. We want our pupils to know and value their hometown, but know there is a diverse world out there that is worthy of seeing, valued, preserved and understood. We want our pupils to understand the connections between where they live and the wider world, and to be wowed by their natural and manmade surroundings.
