Extol Multi Academy Trust (MAT) is based in Hartlepool in the north east of England and currently oversees the governance of Eldon Grove Academy in Hartlepool, an outstanding National Support School, and New Silksworth Academy in Sunderland, as well as being an approved DfE sponsor for other schools.
The Trust is headed by CEO Julie Deville, who whilst retaining her position as practicing Executive Head Teacher of Eldon Grove Academy – an acclaimed Primary School – is also a National Leader for Education and a recognised turnaround specialist for under-performing schools.
Extol’s modus operandi is one based on strong leadership, excellent pedagogy, shared best-practice and an underpinning moral purpose to deliver the best possible education for young people.
Allied with professionalism and business-like governance at an operational level, Extol has built an enviable reputation as a MAT which delivers an enriching educational experience for pupils and, ultimately, helps them reach their highest level of individual achievement.
