Online Gaming Safety

April 1st 2019

As parents in the modern world we are all concerned with who our children interact with online. Video game consoles have evolved into multi-media powerhouses and it can be difficult to monitor who our children are connected with whilst playing on a Playstation. It was brought to our attention by a parent, who has downloaded the official Playstation app (available on the Google Play store and Apple app store) and signed in with their child’s PSN login details. Using the app parents are able to see what games their children are playing and more importantly, who they are receiving messages from. We think this is a fantastic idea to be able to know exactly whom our children are connected with online. A similar app is available from Microsoft for users of their Xbox systems.
